150 European students travelled to New York on May 6, for the “ECJS Goes Big Apple” trip, the first transatlantic ECJS initiative. Over the 5 day event, the students met their American counterparts and spent time touring as a group, living the culture of New York and its Jewish communities.

Trip highlights included a community Shabbat and a tour of major NYC sights such as Central Park, Times Square, The Village, Brooklyn Bridge, Financial district, Ground Zero and a harbor cruise of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
